Practice Nurse
Huntingdon Road Surgery is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Nurse to join our dynamic and dedicated healthcare team. We are a progressive GP practice which focuses in patient-centred care and professional development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering holistic and high quality patient centred care in a primary care setting.
General Practice offers a nursing career with many opportunities. Working closely with our local community, we are responsible for the health needs of our patients which provides a great variety in our daily work. Examples include Long Term Condition Management, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Health Promotion & Primary Prevention work, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Minor Injuries. There is opportunity to develop areas of special interest.
The role will ideally be full time, but part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Pay will be dependent on experience.

We are busy Practice with a list size of 23,500 patients, based in Cambridge city centre and villages. Our team is made up of 13GPs, 6 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, a Physician Associate, a Clinical Pharmacist, a Social Prescriber, a Digital Transformation Manager, a very supportive admin and management team and an excellent Dispensary team, working out of our Girton branch.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse qualifications and current NMC registration.
Previous experience in primary or community care desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
We are particularly keen to recruit someone with qualifications or an interest in Diabetes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to use their own initiative whilst also being a team player.
