The PSA test can help diagnose possible prostate problems, including prostate cancer, and indicate if you should consult your GP. Lots of things can affect the level of PSA in your blood, such as rigorous exercise before a test or other health issues, and so a test is only a starting point in finding out if you have a problem. Two out of three men with a raised PSA level don't have prostate cancer. You may want to assess your level of risk before deciding to take a test using the checker here. Further information about the test is available in the booking form.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, but the earlier you find it, the easier it is to treat.
For any assistance in making a booking, please contact the MyPSA Tests office on 01926 419959 or let me know.
