Asthma Clinic
Our nurse lead asthma clinics help people with asthma understand and manage their condition effectively.
Patients are invited to have an asthma review once a year in the month of their birthday.
Patients are also able to request an asthma review earlier if they have concerns about their asthma or asthma treatments.
See the asthma inhaler videos here, or browse the Asthma UK site for more information.
Contraception and Family Planning
Our GPs and Practice Nurses provide advice on and offer a full range of contraceptive services, including emergency contraception. We also offer the fitting and removal of contraceptive devices, such as intra-uterine devices (IUDs or coils) and contraceptive implants (Nexplanon).
We aim to offer a flexible service that accommodates your commitments, working with you to meet your specific needs.
Maternity Care and Midwife Services
Midwives specialise in the care of pregnant women and provide support throughout your pregnancy, from the initial pregnancy test to delivery and in the first few weeks after birth.
At our surgery, a team of midwives, based at the Cambridge Children’s Centre, provides care to our patients. They may also see patients at the surgery from time to time. You can contact the midwifery team at the Children's Centre on 01223 586787.
For newly pregnant women:
It is important to contact the community maternity services midwife team as soon as your home pregnancy test is positive. They can be reached at 01223 348981.
Further Maternity Information:
Additional information and services are available through the Rosie Hospital. You can self-refer for midwifery services through Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH), and a member of the midwifery team will get in touch with you.

The routine 6 week development check is carried out by your regular doctor. The 1 and 2 year checks are carried out by a member of the child and family team.

Childhood vaccinations are offered by appointment throughout the week. The nurses are trained in childhood vaccinations and all vaccinations are given in accordance with the UK vaccinations schedule.
